Japan Expo International AMV Contest 2011
Japan Expo International AMV Contest 2011
Watch out, here we go! Yes, the most anticipated contest in Europe, for the biggest japanimation exposition outside Japanese territory, that is Japan Expo, has started!
As usual, the best editors have the opportunity to compete against each other the first prize during the key event of the French AMV stage.
Coordinated by AMV-France association and Japan Expo, the contest is expected to break its participation record. So, regardless of your level, don’t be afraid to face many editors from across the world and reveal your potential!
And because we always want to innovate, exclusive videos will be mandatory! It is now prohibited to publish your creation before its publication on AMV-France website or risk disqualification.
In order to make the event even more interactive and friendly, you can now register to the contest without uploading your video on our FTP. Basically, you can register right now and upload your AMV on the deadline!
Talking about that, this year, the deadline is set on May 23th 2011. You have enough time to impress us.
Last but not least, we shouldn't forget about the public prize whose success is already known from past contests.
A 2h projection on giant screen will allow AMV lovers as well as newcomers to preview the selected videos and vote for their favourites ones!

If you read the rules:EvilBloodyNoob wrote:I don't know where to ask...so I'll ask here D:

Keep in mind the videos will be shown to an audience (including children), so we didn't accept gore video. But you can use for example Hellsing if you don't use gore sequences from this anime.Constraints : The Music Videos must have been created from anime (Japanese cartoons) or manga sources. The video has to be an exclusive one. Use of pornographic or extremely violent sequences will disqualify your video. Such decision is final.

The japan expo contest don't usually attribute categorie prizes unlike typical american conventions.Vivamist wrote:What are the categories and can you do collabs in this?
It's a 30 videos ranking by a jury + audience prize during the convention.
