Otafest 2012 AMV Contest - Now Accepting Entries

Happy New Year!

Otafest 2012 will be held on May 18-20, 2012 at the University of Calgary, and we are looking for entries into the AMV contest once again! This will be Otafest's 14th year and our 9th contest! We are looking for any AMVs made after May 2011.

Rules have recently been posted and can be found at:

Please read the rules before entering the contest!

Entry into the contest is very simple! Please send an email to: Jenny Chan: amv@otafest.com

Please provide the following information in the email:

1) Your name or your studio’s name

2) The AMV’s information
a. The name of your video(s)
b. The name of the series from which you are drawing your visual material
c. The name of the song you are using, as well as the original artist

3) Please state whether or not your entry has been submitted to other contest

4) A link to where your video can be downloaded. If you plan on mailing in your copy, a mailing address will then be provided to you in the reply email.

5) Please state whether you plan to attend Otafest.

6) Please state that you are the original creator of this AMV.

Entry deadline is April 21st, 2012. Please have your email sent by April 21st, 2012.
