We've already got a few, but still plenty of time and room for more submissions.
Again, let me know if you have any questions.

Only three more weeks until the deadline!
If you have videos that you think are too extreme for contests, why not send it our way and let us showcase it in the separately-held Tekkoshocon Extreme AMV Contest? It's a contest set aside especially for those videos that normally wouldn't be shown due to content restrictions. Except for a very few reasons, we'll take what you give us--extreme language, extreme violence, extreme sex & nudity, it's all acceptable! We also have a special award set aside just for the best Extreme Contest entry.
This contest will only be held with enough entries to make it happen, so if you (or someone you know) might have an extreme video, let them know we're looking for them!

Re: Tekkoshocon X-2 AMV Contest - Deadline March 10, 2013
Less that 2 weeks to go, and the contest is still looking for more videos.
We have quite a few dramas and a smattering of other basic categories, so we could use any type of video you want to enter.

Re: Tekkoshocon X-2 AMV Contest - Deadline March 10, 2013
Just an FYI for everyone requesting FTP access at the last min. Please note that FTP requests are not granted instantaniously. That is to say, you will not see the FTP info as soon as the page re-loads. Please do not click the request FTP button multiple times as this generates multiple requests and if there is a close request it will negate the open request and no FTP account will be created.
The average turn around for FTP accounts is 1~3 days. As the system requires a live person to authorize the account, it is related to when I have time to do it. I do work 9+ hours a day and also need to sleep, so I'm not always available.
Just something to keep in mind, as I often see negated open requests in the system. If you click the request FTP button and the wording has changed to 'Close FTP' then the account request is in the system. You should receive your account via email within 24 hours, and it should also list the account info in the system as well within that time frame. If you don't get the email 24 hours after you submitted the request, simply go back to the system and see if the info is listed, if not, then close the account and then re-open it. This will help with problems with email transmissions as sometimes I don't get the email notifications and sometimes ya'll don't get the FTP info via email.
