AMV Contest is accepting submissions at this time. The deadline is pushed way back this year to make up for the late rules. There is ZERO chance for an extension. Pre-screenings for all entries will be on July 8th, which means I'm spending my 4th, processing last-minute AMVs. 'Murrica.
Also, the anti-trolling window was widened since we've always accidentally lined it up with AnimeNext in the past, people might have submitted to said convention expecting their entry to also be allowed into the Otakon contest as well. We don't want to "punish" anyone because of the unnaturally late deadline.

AMV Theater will be back and bigger than ever. Our room is 100% larger and 20% cooler than previous years!

Seating Ribbon Pickup Info
If you submitted to this year's AMV contest and were NOT disqualified, you are entitled to a priority seating ribbon. Yes, this is available to non-finalists and prize-trolls alike.
Ribbon pickup is in Programming Ops: Room 209ABC in the WEW Convention Center
Ribbons can be picked up between the following times:
Friday: 9AM - midnight
Saturday: 9AM - Start of Saturday AMV Contest
You will receive 3 ribbons, so you can hook up 2 friends as well.
These ribbons allow you to skip the line for the AMV Contest screenings ONLY, and also entitle you to reserved seating for all AMV Contest screenings.

You can also use an FTP program like FileZilla to do the FTP transfer once logged in.
