Anime Banzai 2019 AMV Contest - Winners and Honorable Mentions

Anime Banzai AMV Contest is now accepting entries. Contest deadline is 11:59 pm Mountain Standard Time on September 25, 2019.

We are accepting videos made after May 1, 2018 and have not been submitted to our contest before.

We had a new record of entries to our con last year, as always I really want to beat that number. Even if you don't get into the contest, I plan on playing a large number of videos in our viewing rooms between the anime screenings and an honorable mentions screening after the contest reshow.

There will be four main categories for submission: Action, Drama, Comedy, and Cat X.

Just remember that we are a family con, so we must keep the contest to a rating of PG-13. Please see the rules and faq for more details.

The rules Page says:

"1: Contest Entries must be received no later than 11:59 pm Mountain Standard Time on September 25, 2018. "

"2: Videos submitted to this contest must have a finalization date of no older than May 1, 2019. "

The years seem wrong. Which version is correct?

Alright editors, I need videos! The deadline is now less than a month away. Please get them to me as quickly as possible.

I want every year at Anime Banzai to have a bigger and better Contest than the year before. I can’t do that without your help.

AWA editors, just a reminder that you can submit your videos without any worries. The con isn’t until October, which means that your videos will still premiere at AWA first. Especially since their contest starts this weekend.

AWA is Oct 31 - Nov 3 this year.

The submission form allows for multiple entries but only one space to provide links. Use separate forms, or just separate links with commas? Also there is no place to write the entry's category.

You can just separate the links with commas, or spaces, I can figure out when you have started a new link pretty easily. As for the category, we actually will pick which one we think it fits best in. If you want to add a category tag, just stick it in the title after a hyphen. We will take that into consideration during our prejudging.

Edited out the AWA, that was stupid of me, I think I was looking at an old link. Teach me to write stuff late at night.

Anybody not submitting to the masters category or peer review category can still submit to our contest since those are the only categories that have right of first exhibition.
