All rules that apply to the other categories applies to this category as well. The only difference is you may use ANY non-anime footage for this. So if you have a Voltron, Avatar, She-Ra, ect video that you haven’t been able to submit to a con, now is your chance!

- Email address
- Song title(s), artist(s), and recording label(s)

You must include ALL of that information before your video will be considered for the contest. If you are unsure about any of the information please look it up, as it is all crucial information. Submit all entries or questions to my email: amv.mareep@gmail.com
11) Prizes will be presented during a formal award show at the convention. If the contestant is not attending the convention or must leave before the award show, their awards will be mailed out after the convention at the expense of the editor. If you choose to have your prize mailed to you contact me through my email (amv.mareep@gmail.com) WITHIN A WEEK AFTER THE CON. If you don’t, I’m assuming you do not want your prize. Please allow 4-6 weeks maximum for delivery of said prize.

ODUcon is a con that solely benefits Relay for Life. All proceeds the convention makes goes directly to the organization. For every entry I receive for this year's contest I will PERSONALLY donate a dollar up to $100. If an editor wishes to make a personal donation, feel free to get in contact with me!. Let's see how much we can earn together this year!

Side Note: I do apologize for taking the 2019 convention off. I had personal issues arise and could not hold the contest because of them. I'm happy to be back and brighter than ever for you all!

Because cancer is a massive pain in the ass, I've teamed up with PrincessMareep to up the charitable impact we can have with the competition. I will donate $2 to the same charity for every entry received, up to $200. My employer will match me, so that's really $400 extra. So let's pump up the speed and kick cancer's butt!
And obviously, I'm not entering. PrincessMareep will let me know the total entries, I'll send her my receipts to verify amounts, and the total will likely be announced by her because it's her awesome idea.
So altogether that's $5 per entry! Bring it on!

Re: ODUCon's 2020 AMV Contest! [Let's Edit Out Cancer!]
Its because the convention itself if charity run, so anything that's needed for the amv budget comes out of pocket for me and I can not pay for something like international shipping.Rider4Z wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2019 2:07 pmWow really?PrincessMareep wrote: ↑Wed Oct 16, 2019 1:05 amIf the contestant is not attending the convention or must leave before the award show, their awards will be mailed out after the convention at the expense of the editor.
HOWEVER I do email a digital certificate of the awards. So, the only reason thi would ever come into play is if someone wanted me to snail-mail a printed award.
