Lakewood Public Library Anime Festival AMV Contest
Hello from Lakewood Ohio!
My name is Mike B. and I am coordinating the AMV contest for the Lakewood Public Library's Anime Festival.
Our Festival is a one day, free and open to the public event, where we plan on having over 300 attendees.
Our AMV contest will be approx. 1.5 hours long, and hopefully will have about 5 videos in each of our three categories.
Details on submitting videos are available here: http://www.lakewoodpubliclibrary.com/an ... ntest.html
and further details about our anime festival are available here: http://www.lakewoodpubliclibrary.com/anime
Aside from the other qualifications for videos listed on the above page, I would also like to request that you only enter AMV videos that have not been shown in the Ohio area before. (so nothing that was used in the contests at ohayocon, cleveland colossal con, tekkoshocon, sugoicon, etc..) Please feel free to submit more than one video.
the categories are action, comedy/parody and romance/drama. Each top voted video and staff pick from every category will receive a prize package worth ($100 for attendee voted picks, $50 for staff picks) or more. Please keep videos suitable for a PG audience. Deadlines for videos are may 15th for earlybird (given preference) and June 1st for the last accepted entries. Entries received after June 1st will be discarded.
Thank you for your time, and please e-mail myself at lpl@lkwdpl.org with any other questions you may have.
Sincerely,
Mike B.

thanks ^_^, also, for those of you that needed to contact me, I am available by phone at work (216) 226-8275 ext. 127 during the hours of 9-2pm monday and wednesday, 1-9pm tuesday and 9-3pm Saturday. You can also email me anytime at lpl@lkwdpl.org
thanks again!,
Mike B.
ps.-send in that zoom zoom video anyways, worst come to worse, we could use it as filler in the contest, or have a backup reel to show, since we have two video rooms.

Hey, the timeline sounds good - I'll try for this one!
You mention no time limit; though my assumption is that you'd probably like to keep them concise ~_~
(don't mind me, I'm just on an endless search for contests that accept longer videos).
In which case, I'll probably wait until my next vid is done to enter.

The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

standard procedure is around 5 minutes, but we'll be willing to at least consider videos that are longer. since our block is limited to 1.5 hours, and we want to try and have as many videos as possible, try and be considerate of other makers that are entering. but feel free to send as many videos as you want.
