This contest is for those of you who are dieing to show everyone that you’re video is better then the rest! So if you have something to prove this contest is for you!

Rules

1. The File can be any size!
2. Formats (AVI, MPEG, ASF, WMV, and Real Player)! Preferably (MPEG)!
3. No Hentai AMVs!
4. Can be only Anime content!
5. Must be a member on <a href="http://groups.myspace.com/amvvillage
">AMV Village</a> to enter contest!

Tips and hints

1. Try to focus on themes!
2. Random themes with random clips will be look down upon!
3. NEVER EVER REPEAT CLIPS! You will regret it!
4. Try your best to use your own clips, because if you use Web Clips, or Someone else’s clips from other Music Videos you will be marked down!
5. Try to get the best Video Quality Clips, which helps your chance of winning considerable!
6. Be worn, if you are putting your music videos into (ASF or WMV), you might want to think it over, because they both take down the sound quality quite a bit! Note: The Music in the Video must sound CD quality for you to have any chance!
7. Try to avoid themes or Songs that have been played out to death! Example: (Linkin Park - In The End) or (Slipknot - Wait and Bleed) Note: That if you think that you can still win be doing the thing that we tell you to avoid, go right ahead try and impress us!
8. Never stop until you have exactly what you want, because if you put all that time in making the video, and it didn’t turn out the way you wanted it to be, then you’ve wasted your time!
9. Timing is everything; if you have bad timing your most certainly are going to lose!
10. Make shere you tie in th Video and Audio good. That means make shere you make the Video good with the song. Hear the singers emotion, listen to the lyrics, and pay attention to the actions cureses. Note: Reason being is because if the Video is all over the place and you didn't tie the video and audio together, then the video just looks stupid.
11. Effects are also bonus points, so if you can make effect in your videos, then you can increase your chances! Note: Stay mainly with dissolve effects because most effect like (split screens and checker) boards look horrible in a video and will make your video look bad, but if you can make it look good enough so that we like it then be my guest and good luck!

Prize

The winner of the contest will receive promotion on AMV Village about you the creator, also your Music Video will be posted on AMV Village! Also, he who wins will be sent an award saying that you have won the (AMV Village's Anime Music Video Contest).

Other Information

The Contest will spread about 25 to 30 days depending on the volume of Music Videos I get! I will have a sort of tournament style type format, I'm thinking around 16 Creators will have a chance to enter the contest. After I recieve 16 submissions of what I think is worthy I will begin the contest. All videos will be shown at once, with each video going one on one with what video I choose to face. Their will be a poll for each individual fight. Also, who ever wins after a certain ammount of votes will win that round. After that it will be winner against winner. It will continue until only one is victorious.

Important

When I have collected all of the submissions for the contest, I'll post a Bulletin to list all of the contenders for this contest. Then after about a day I'll post another Bulletin to start the contest. So to all the AMV Creators that will be participating in this contest, Good Luck!
