Amature Contest

Post by Abaddon_Archangel » Sun Nov 27, 2005 3:25 pm

Hello everyone. I am considering starting a contest for Windows Movie Maker-stricken creators. A contest where ONLY Wmm files are accepted, so that they too can be part of the fun.

Just looking for some feedback. I will post more if there is a general support for this idea.

Sounds like a good idea.

One question, can you post up old MM videos or do you have to submit a new one?

It's funny, I was actually thinking of suggesting this idea myself ^_^ I think this is a great idea; it's a chance for beginners to compete and improve their skills.

If you decide to start it, I would certainly be interested in signing up.

it's been done a few times before... if you do a search for WMM contest you should find em somewhere... you can get some ideas off those if you want.

hmmm, and not all beginning editors use WMM too (I use MEP-10, and I've only got 2.5 vids under my belt). Any chance it might be expanded to include just newbies (someone who has only made videos for a certain amount of time)?

I donno, not like I have time to enter another contest with K2-2006 looming over my head...

Wow, seems to have gotten some praise. Castor, I hope you don't mind if I use some of your rules during this contest.

The details will be up soon. Dec 1st at the VERY latest.
