AMV Raw is a weekly music video contest style like a E-Fed, there are stroylines, match up and characters. At the start of each season there is a set number of weeks and PPV Events, which those who are on the roster are match up with each other. Members then get to vote on who they like best.

The birth of AMV Raw

The name AMV Raw is a reference to the professional wrestling promotion; WWE Raw. The name was taken from this due to the fact that the competitions are similar in nature. Every week on WWE Raw there are a series of match-ups between wrestlers for the point of entertainment and seeing who will win... on AMV Raw we do the same. We have a roster of AMV creators, and every week we pair there videos up against each other at random for the point of entertaining you fans and seeing witch video creator is the best.

To Join

Anyone can join the roster, you don′t have to be a member of our community in order to sign up. However if you want to post comments to match ups and vote then you will be a account. AMV Raw is a simple contest to join. All you have to do is first make some music videos, there is no limit to how many you can make or not have. The main point of this contest is to not only get your videos out the everyone to see but to have fun as well. That is why AMV Raw has been design to take on the feel of a Wrestling F-Fed, which for those of you who don′t know what that is it, plain and simple it means RPG or role playing. However the role playing is done by us.

As part of the roster you have to do nothing but make videos and put them in your profiles. When we see that you release a new video we generally use them first before using older ones. Basically its all for fun and to just watch some cool music videos. So if you make anime music videos, join in on the fun and enter your name for the roster. Anyone can join the only thing that is holding you back is the fact you haven′t hit that join button yet.

Next Month, Majin Planet's AMV Raw hosts Ultimate Vengeance. This will be the 3rd joint Competition Event between Graphic War and AMV Raw which will take place on February 22nd to the 28th. You have time to join up on AMV Raw and pe part of this pretigious event.

AMV Hell
In this type of match, AMV Hell is a where each maker must make a 1-min video (no lower then 30secs) and must used Dragonball Z (any part) to the song Linkin Park "Points Of Authority". The winner of the match has the right to be called a Legend as well as gains the Legend Trophy and a prize of $10.00 USD pay threw PayPal.

AMV Vengeance
The AMV Raw Title will be decided in the triple Threat match called AMV Vengeance. Which is a Iron Man match. The rules are simple, starting 2 weeks and four days before the event, there will be a poll where members choose between four animes and four songs. The choose anime/song must then be used by those in the contest. Which case they have four days to do it and it due the day before the event starts.

So far the following matches have been set. Any match not set yet are still open and will be filled in the coming weeks.

a few questions, you may have explained it somewhere else, but is this like an iron chef? can i enter any video i have?? what exactly are you looking for? I had an idea like this a few years back, but there were contests for each category, like sentimental and so on... also there was a rule of no video older then 6 months unless it was in the classics match *being videos over 2 years old*

But as for Your matches... could you explain what each one is? are we supposed to iron chef each match, and whats the difference between lets say the Signature Death Match and the Hardcore match other then the ammount of people? And does No DQ mean hentai is/can be involved?

I wont be signing up unless i know about all of this.

When you sign up you only give the link to your a-m-v.org profile not to a specific video. This is because the person in charge (gm of the brand) of the competition creates storylines and chooses which videos to go against each other. It can be even your oldest amv but if you make a new 1 then it will always be premiered in the next match up. You can have only 2 videos or 20, the amount of amvs or age doesn't matter. There is difrent types of matches, singles, tag teams, triple threat, ect. This is still ratehr new as for new matches are made up with particular type or specifications as to how its done. For Example:

more or less its a contest that requires 0 work on the part of the participants as was my original idea behind you. You simply submit your profile, say you want to join, and every week you get put into various competitions against other AMV creators to see who is the best. We keep a win/loss/tie record so that you can check your status. More or less its all the glory, none of the work.

So i have no say in what videos are entered?

I would atleast like to have certain videos DQd from competition.... like iron chef vids on my profile, meps... and videos i made in like 3 hours to be stupid...

There are even Titles u can win and the more ppl the more titles are created. Right now we have a AMV RAW CHAMP & A hardcore champ. There is talk about a new tag team Championship. Enter and fight, and u may someday become known as the best of the best.

well that seems like sarcasm cause the most invative match i could say its d vengance match, but if it wasn't, then i am not d 1 who makes these matches, im just promoting and telling ppl 2 join. If u wantt and have better ideas for a match and would like 2 se them come true then submit them and if theyr good, we can make it happen.
