ROUND ONE!!
_____________________________________________
Okay, in previous tournaments, I've listed out all of the specific matches with the respective editors with links to their profiles. This time around, there's 32 matches in Round One....... Sorry, but I think you're all intelligent enough to look at the brackets, find your name, and find who you're up against.
So, what do you do now?
It is each competitors responsibility to communicate with their opponent to find a time when they can do their match. KEEP IN MIND THAT IN ADDITION TO BEING AVAILABLE ON THE DAY OF THE MATCH, YOU ALSO NEED TO BE AVAILABLE FOR A FEW MINUTES 24 HOURS BEFOREHAND IN ORDER TO PICK YOUR SOURCE!!! So many people messed up on this last tournament when it was painfully obvious... So please, plan ahead.
The 24 hour rule is admittedly pretty loose. If you're both around 26 hours ahead, and one of you is leaving soon, we can do the source picks. It's not that big of a deal. Same goes if one of you is late a couple hours. I'd like to avoid this as much as possible, but it happened many times last tournament and there was never any issues of anybody not having enough time to rip (meaning, 22 hours as opposed to 24 just wasn't enough... Come on. 24 hours is already pretty gracious).
As I am COMPLETELY SURE everybody has already thoroughly read and understands the rules, I will not re-iterate them here, but I will say again, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE once you've ripped and prepped your source, TEST it in your video editing program. In the last tournament, many people had issues with their source right when editing began because they hadn't thoroughly tested it. I am telling you right now that I will NOT be giving mercy to people who have problems with their source at the beginning of the match. You have PLENTY of time beforehand to make sure it's working perfectly.
Anyways. That's it from me! Have at it kiddos
And feel free to take the BIG bracket image (the one that lists EVERYBODY) and make up your own fantasy winner choices. Just no illegal betting ............. >_> <_<_> <_<
