T-MODE AMV CONTEST - AND THE WINNERS ARE....

By some strange twist of fate, I have been given the opportunity to run T-MODE's AMV contest this year. I know, right?

Yep, T-MODE is back, at a new location in Alexandria. This might be a small convention, but I have big plans for the AMV contest. I hope the smallness of the convention and the newness of being on the scene will not deter you from entering.

Deadline for entries is the end of the day on April 1, 2010. No fooling here, this gives you about a month to get those entries in.

Since the title of the AMV is included with the submission form, it doesn't have to be in the file name.

Spring is here, but few of you out there have sent entries! Please send some entries for our little contest! We'd love to see your work.... no matter how bad or good you think it is! The deadline is coming up on April 1, which is only a week and a half away. Come on, send it in!

Ok, I could only get one to upload on Megaupload and couldn't get yousendit to work at all, so I posted a link to the org for the second AMV. I understand it that's not allowed.

Sorry this is so late in announcing. With 2 exceptions, everybody's entries were accepted into the contest. (One had to be disqualified due to content, and another had to be made non-competing because it arrived about 90-120 minutes after the deadline.)

Also, the Upbeat/Dance and Comedy categories have been combined due to fewer entries being received than in Drama or Romance.

Right now the contest is scheduled to be played on Friday night at 7pm. I will see if there's any way possible to have some kind of showing on Saturday, because I know some editors are coming but won't be at the Con until Saturday.

Prizes will be awarded for top vote-getter in each category (4 - Trailer/Parody, Drama, Romance, and Upbeat/Comedy), as well as one award for the overall top vote-getter.
