Really they ask for phone numbers now ....thats pretty sick and not in the cool way

I've been suspended from youtube but still am very active on it. In fact I believe that most of my video downloads come from links from youtube that I put in the description.

Yeah. In January, I made a YT page for a group I'm in. They required a G-mail account upon registration, along with an active cell number, to text you an activation code.

Yeah, but AFAIK, you can use the same number more than once. I know I've used mine at least 3 times by this point. >_______>

It's just more evidence for them to forward to the prosecution. IP look-ups take time and money.

That's kind of a relief, but I know YT tracks repeat offenders via IP address meaning they'll know if you make a backup account.
