Finally!I found the intro/discussion area! lol should've just scrolled down... Anyways, I saw this site linked from a funimation forum and felt I must join seeing how I'm just getting into this hobby. You all can call me Devil for short. I've only made one amv which took some time but after seeing some of the neat editing styles from users on here its only made me want more. Hope to meet some cool folks on here as well as maybe harass a few for directionns. lol

Thanks for the welcome Oto and Code! I figured I'd start with the intro and continue onto uploading my amv for review. I am curious however about how I need to post my video. Can I link it from my youtube or do I need to go about it differently here?

You'll find that A-M-V.org > Youtube.

Plus we won't ban your account or take down your videos like youtube does

Go to the member's main page. From there, go to "Enter New Video". Enter in all the information that you have about the video. This will enter your video in the catalog.

Once you're finished cataloging, go back to your member's main page. From there, you'll need to click "Upload a Video". Pick the video, make sure it fits with the site rules of upload and you'll get an information screen with FTP information.

Plug that information into an FTP program such as Filezilla, and upload it to the site.

From there, you'll need to confirm the upload when it finishes (this is on the member's main page at the very top when you finish uploading). Then give it some time to process and you should have a "Local" green link at the bottom of your video information page (which you can find on your profile page here).
