Blazblue Championship : Summer session !
Kain-x-Spirits and me spend a lot of time playing Blazblue so we got the idea to coordinate a little event gathering all Blazblue players of AMV forums. At first, we thought about coordinating a small tournament but then we considered a championship with rules and some challenges might be more interesting.
For the first edition, it'll take place during all summer using Continuum Shift Extended Version on PS3.
Rules
Each match between 2 players has to follow these rules :
Globals rules
- No unlimited character
2 round fights
Rounds are 99-second-long
Music and stage chosen randomly
Victory and defeat points
- 1. Victory of the match : Winner gets 3 points BUT if it comes he gets this victory by using the same character in 3 parties, then he only gets 2 points
2. For the one defeated, if the final score is 3-2, he gets one point (and still 3 or 2 points for the winner depending on how he wins)
3. Still for the one defeated, if it is 5-0, then he loses one point
- 3 parties won by astral finish = +2 bonus points
If you won the match by winning each round with distorsion finish = + 2 bonus points
If you win at least 2 parties in less than 120 seconds (only the time spent fightint counts) = + 4 bonus points if you win the match, +2 bonus point if you lose it
3 won parties in a row with 3 different characters = +1 bonus point
On the contrary, in a row or not, to lose with 3 different characters = -2 points
Before every match, both player have to send a list by PM to one of the participats. In it there will be the characters they potentially intend to play during the match. That means, you're obliged to use the characters in the said list, NOT NECESARILY ALL OF THEM but not other character than them. You can choose 5 characters at most. One party = One character.
Kain and me advice you to have someone to supervise your match if possible

1 match = 5 parties
1 party = 2 victorious fights
1 fight = 2 victorious rounds
