I'm MariaChrystal aka just Chrystal~ I was one of the Judges for this year SMASH! AMV Competition in Sydney Australia, but now upgraded to a Co-ordinator Assistant for AMV and Art. ^^

I first encounter AMVs in 2008, but got addicted in 2009 thanks to my partner Renato (whom a few know).
Now I make AMVs during my holidays if I can. Started end of last year, and uploaded my first AMV this year (can be seen here). I'm still new in editing, so there is mistakes in my first AMV, and hoping to improve during my next holidays. ^^

I'm a big fan to most editors here, who I look upto and follow in Youtube (such as majority who entered SMASH AMV Comp this year). And I have a wide collection of AMVs in my laptop to be inspired from, while trying to make mine. ^^;

I've been here on the org since 2009, but I lurk due to being shy... I often say sorry too much and get nervous in posting..and I'm clumsy.. >o<;;
So I hope to post often and befriend with you all~~! :3

I'm not actually new here. I signed up a long time ago but have only posted on the forum a few times. I have been getting more serious with my editing and plan to participate on the forums more

I have been tinkering with AMV's for a long time, but more recently started getting into editing them more seriously.
I dont have many completed videos at the moment, but thats gonna change. I have a lot of stuff in the works and hope to be more regular with my vids.
I still have a lot to learn but I think I've already begun to fall into my own style. I'm not an effects editor, and enjoy editing with retro anime the most

anyway, I look forward to making friends and sharpening my editing skills
