Why did I have to change my password?
I really hate when they make you do this when they make you change your password without explanation and/or when you don't want to or feel you don't need to. What the hell is this all about?
I can't stand weeaboos and people who keep badmouthing dubbed anime and say it sucks.

It was likely to prevent anymore unused accounts from being hacked and posting "Girls in your area" like posts on the site.

That’s stupid! My account was NOT inactive. I log in here quite a bit. Sounds to me like the admins are just paranoid. And I hate how they made me use a mixture of characters and stuff which is unnecessary. Why can’t I just use something simple? Instead of making this crazy word salad contraption. They shouldn’t force you to change your password against your will. You shouldn’t have to chanfe your password unless it is necessary. And this whole day has been shit as it is!

In order to prevent spambots and compromised accounts from posting, I activated the "force password change every 500 days" feature. The forum will now prevent anyone from logging in who has a password older than 500 days at any point now or in the future.tuxedomarty wrote: ↑Fri Aug 02, 2024 6:50 pmThat’s stupid! In terms of requiring mixed characters, this is a pretty standard security measure to ensure that users aren't creating passwords that are easy to guess or crack. This adds security not only to individual users but also to the site as a whole. The site's password requirements are actually much more lenient than most since it only requires the use of both letters and numbers. So this change was long overdue.
