I have to agree with the opening themes of EVA, Lain, and Hellsing, but one that caught my attention instantly is "Kaze no Nemuru Shima De", the opening theme of Neo Ranga. It's just so...different. It actually sounds like some kind of tribal chant in parts. Very cool.
