Well I can name you some:
Orchestrated only:
Arcturus - Ad Astra (Orchestral Version from "Disguised Masters")
Arcturus - Master of Disguise (from "La Masquerade Infernale")
Tenhi - "Väre" (Folk)
Tenhi - "airut:ciwi" (Ethno/Folk)
Shiva in Exile - "Ethnic"
Focused on classical instruments:
Arcturus - "The Sham Mirrors" piano
Apocalyptica - almost everything
Theatre of Tragedy - "Velvet Darkness They Fear" Violin
In the Woods - "Omnio" string quartet
All songs/albums are either pure black/folk metal or produced by metal composers. Although it's really hard to find music that combines metal and classical instruments perfect.

Lucky you!
Just discovered something new:
Rakoth - "Planeshift" piano/flute (IMHO sounds like the raw black metal version of Arcturus)
regarding Ulver:
Only the album "Kveldssanger" is folk (guitar unplugged), the rest is either pure black metal or progrssive/industrial electronic (yeah, how a band can change...).

Yeah but it was one of the first ones, that most people don't already listen to, that came to mind.Giton wrote:Lucky you!
