Baffling
Metrically fractured disco rhythms
Consistently mathematical melodies
And inventive modes
Indiscretions
Secretly taped conversations from inside the studio
A trance-like thermorecycling system
Enormous glaciers of sound were toppling onto the audience,
Reforming in greater mass
And toppling forward again
Cut off the sound abruptly -
The audience applauded enthusiastically
What were you expecting tonight?

(That's the most descriptive though less-than-laconic answer I could come up with )

The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

The music must please me.
To a lesser extent, the lyrics must please me (doesn't mean I have to agree with them).
I don't think I could like a song where the lyrics were amazing but the music was intolerable. Hypothesis.
I could like a song with music that pleases me and lyrics that aesthetically disgust me (Linkin Park?).
The best is that which pleases me in both respects.

heh, i like these kind of threads. I noticed you just joined recently. Welcome to the Org. ^^
I'm a none-noise person. ~.^ I enjoy lots of music, most having a soft edge, however when i listen to music, i mix these up with edgier, "harder" music of rock, metal, and punk. The contrast keeps my ears and my mind on attention.
I also enjoy foreign (native) music because they are often incredibly unique and unusual.
