There are a number that publicly admit it, and I suspect many more that don't. Case in point being XenoDrake, who recently posted some of his compositions.

I've been playing bass in one form or another for...sword, it's going on seven years now. Guitar for....four and a half, but not real seriously. And I played trumpet for eight years until the group I was with decided they needed a bassist, not another trumpet player.

I've been in two bands with a singular lack of success (playing bass in both), and recorded two full-length demos and one single with one of my own projects, doing all guitar, bass, and vocals. They pretty much suck, except for the single, which sucks less. I've been in-process on a concept album for this project for most of the last year, but only have one song and a couple drum-programming sequences to show for it. My recording gear is busted, and I'm not a good enough guitarist yet to play the stuff I've got plotted for it.

To kill time I've been doing some electro stuff, and have about 18 minutes of what might turn into an EP-length demo. This probably sucks, but it's easy and I can make music at odd hours without driving my housemates berserk. Fretless bass fed through an overdriven distortion pedal at one in the morning does not domestic bliss make.

Others...farlo is in a band, and I'm pretty sure Jace is/was as well. Not sure if they've ever linked their stuff. Mine can wait till I've got that demo done.

Shin Hatsubai is a Premiere-free studio. Insomni-Ack is habitually worthless.

Yeah, I am a rave DJ and write music for my electronic group, HappyFunCo. I've been trying for a Xenodrake remix, but apparently have lost his respect (or something...).

Well, Xeno, I DID post a request in your post about music, and I e-mailed you asking the same thing, but you never got back to me. I just assumed you had something against me :P . Sorry about that.

Anyway, in your other post you said you had the original project files. Any way you could send them to me?

Uh, that's it :) .

I'm a singer in a band, have been for about 8 months, but its not really a functional band seeing as the bass player and the drummer pissed off somewhere and we only just got the bass player interested again.

 Just to throw something from the totally opposite side of the world, I've been a church organist for about 7 years now.

I'm not religious; I just work for them. Nice folks. 8)
