Blue Man Group

Post by str1ngcheese » Thu Apr 08, 2004 3:40 pm

A few days ago, I was flipping through late night channels on Direct TV. I was about headed up do go to sleep. So I flip through a few more stations, and I see Blue Man Group on Freeview. I havent really heard there music before, so I turned it on. Now, Im a Heavy Metal fan. And I wasnt expecting much out of this. But WOW!!! Their music literally grabed me and pulled me in. And 2 days later I bought their new CD.

So this weekend, if you have Direct TV, I suggest you check this. Alot of their songs are drums and bass. But a few are Basic Metal songs. Their new CD is called "The Complex" if you are intrested.

If you need a sample, download the song "The Current"

YES!!!!!

Another Blue Man Group fan!!!

I'm not alone anymore! (now I know how otohiko felt)

You said you got the new album? It pretty good, but their first album, Audio, is much better.

Get it here.

The same album as above, but its on dvd-audio in a 5.1 surround mix
With the proper sound equipment, this is incredible.

The Complex Tour DVD

Also, check out this fan site.
It has TONS of media content. Highly recommended.

So far, the Blue Man Group is the most talented, most original group that I have heard.
Plus, how many bands do you know of that use pvc pipe as a major instrument?
The Big O will KILL you!

BMG is excellent, though it's been several years since I heard anything by them. (I last heard them in 1998, at a live show in Boston)

I should look into getting some CDs.
