I don't know that many operatic singers. Only one or two such as Sarah Brightman, and Sumi Jo, but I do have some favorite operas that have great music....

Dona Nobis Pacem by Ralph Vaughn Williams
St Nicholas Cantada
Amaul and the Night Visitors

Then the Gilbert and Sullivan greats like Pirates of Penzance, and Mikado

Then you've got that techno-opera song from "The Fifth Element" (the one that blue diva sang as Milla Jovovich's character wailed ass on those alien thugs).
