nope, sorry, wrong, nuh-uh. if rap is anything like punk (wich it is in more ways then one. just listen to the sub humans or resist and exist, then listen to public enemy) then the underground stuff will also SOUND different. its true! underground scenes, in ANY genre, will always affect the sound of the artists in it. does resist and exist sound ANYTHING like blink 182? so its not just all these bands that sound like blink waiting to be picked up by big record companies (although some of them are).Completely Wreckless wrote:Underground hiphop is any hiphop act that doesn't have mainstream exposure, ie. theres no goddamn videos, radio play, or sit downs with lala and DJ Clue(less).
but most everything else in your post i agree with. and i'll gladly watch an AMV with hip hop in it.
i was half joking when i said that stuff bout no one likes rap here cuz theyre all white. but what feuled it was this pissed off feeling i get when these stupid white kids walk around and think they have a right to judge everything. size everything up. "this is good, this is bad" when all they're saying is "black music sux, white music rocks". shit, i LOVE rock. but its like, nowadays, rockers fight against rap like punkers fight against main stream thinking. FIND YOUR "CAUSE" SOME WERE ELSE, KID! ITS NOT THAT FUCKING IMPORTANT!
