The Ataris - So Long Astoria

Post by Jace Tsunami » Tue Mar 04, 2003 4:16 pm

If your a fan of The Ataris you probably already know their first full length album in almost two years came out today. The album is So Long Astoria. This CD is decently priced just like most other CDs, but I've noticed it pretty cheap lots of places today because it's it's first day. I picked my copy up at Best Buy, it had a 13.99 sticker on it but I got it for 6.99. If you guys plan on buying this album which I hope you do because it's incredible, you might want to check out picking up a copy today.

The Ataris own their own record store in Santa barbara where they live. They have a studio in the back of the store where they practice and you can watch. If you live in the area you might want to look into learning about their store. It's a great way to get to know the band eprsonaly and see a great free show. Just thought I'd let you guys know. I know we have some people that live in Santa Barbara here.

I hope you guys go out and buy the album to support the band, I know it's incredibly awsome and worth the buy because I already have mine.

COME ON PEOPLE!!! 7 FUCKING VIEWS!!!

Damn, I've seen two of these free shows so far and they kick absolute ass. I also got to go to Disney Land and hang out with The Ataris. You fucks are missing out.

All of my 5 albums by them are now signed, I got to see their record store down on haley, AND I fuckin got to hang out witht he band at Disney Land. tell me these arn't good things? If they have any free shows left, and it's in your area, I highley recomend seeing them, it's FREE.

And buy their album to support them, it's a fucking awsome album, retails at about 15 dollars, but if you buy sometime around now while it's new, most record stores have it for like 4.99 - 7.99 depending on the store, because it's new. This is ana wsome album and you guys are assing up a golden opportunity to get it cheap. Better yet you guys re passing up the golden chances to see the Ataris for FREE and meet with them.

I've been listening to the album non-stop for a few days, now. It's fantastic.

Right now my favorite songs are "So Long, Astoria," "In This Diary," "Unopened Letter to the School," and "Radio #2."
