I like the seatbelts, the pillows, see-saw, and x japan. My favorite out of those is the seatbelts.

A group i liked that i heard was the Bzs i think, if that is a Japanese band then i really liked them if not they are still cool.

Lostage, Syrup16g, Cutgrass, Futaba, Journal Spy Effort, Kiwiroll, TAR23 and Boris are probably the best bands in Japan right now. Perenial favorites Ghost, OOIOO, The Boredoms and Acid Mother Temple also get a big thumbs up from me. And The Mops are the best garage band of all time.

I'm not big on Japanese music in general. But Loudness is a good Japanese Metal band I've heard. But I don't know much about them.
