Actually, I don't think I changed much from two years ago, with the exception that the 70's King Crimson was the undisputably hugest influence on me, and Captain Beefheart and David Sylvian were something I heard in passing and enjoyed, though didn't think about much - whereas now, the supremacy of the 70's KC is being contested by the 1999-2003 incarnation and the ProjeKcts, while Signors Van Vliet and Sylvian hold a large amount of space in my own private music shrine.

Billy Joel, Elton John, The Beatles, The Aquabats...

I know that's an odd assortment but they're really the only artists at the moment where I'd buy other albums besides the "Greatest Hits." Especially Billy Joel. I have almost every one of his albums.

Creed, Nickelback, Evanescence, Three Days Grace, Linkin Park, Good Charlotte, The White Stripes Elephant, Staind, Saliva, System of a Down, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Queen, Maaya Sakamoto, Ritsuko Okazaki, Nana Kitade, L'Arc-en-Ciel, Asian Kungfu Generation, Cool Joke, Little by Little, Raiko, Disturbed, Alanis Morissette, Tori Amos, Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Mozart, Pachebel, Haydn, Brahms, etc. (Too many great composers to name. But my fave is Bach. ^_^).

Haha that is the worst band ever (in my opinion). But I must admit, their vocalist is the funniest person I've ever heard of. I mean, come on, the guy is afraid of cars. ANYWAYS, my favorite bands...

i knew rancid was getting alot of airplay, but i never thought theyd ever be put on the same page as dashboard confessional.
