has there been any videos made to Devin Townsend songs? i searched for some but none were shown...

anywayz, if anyone is stuck for some dramatic songs i can strongly recomend Devin Townsend... songs like storm, life, deadhead and truth could make awesome AMVs... i was going to make one but i am having trouble coming to grips with DVD ripping

...

for example my idea was to do the song storm with evangelion... the lyrics fit pretty well...

The only music of his that i would use would be with Strapping Young Lad, im not huge on his other work... too soft for me, but I always asked myself that same question.

Storm would be a great song to use. I would try doing it with Saikano or Macross Plus or Zero.

For what it's worth, someone here used "All Hail The New Flesh" by SYL. Unfortunately, it's a DBZ AMV encoded in Windows Media, the douchebag.

I'm definitely a fan of Townsend, but not a very big fan. I like Strapping Young Lad much more. However, I haven't seen any videos using either his solo work or Strapping Young Lad.

haha SYL is possibly the most insanley aggressive music i have ever heard, especially the song "SYL"

Yeah that would be me... this was before i learned how to use Ulead and Premier, so sue me that i used wmv, the question should be who hasnt used it before? Almost everybody has created something in wmm, but anywho... SYL rocks end of story.

Actually, i havent used wmm before and from what ive heard i never will.. but anyway your video ss3_Eldrin was the only one i came up with, sad really we need more metal bands like SYL up on a-m-v.org

... mmm after this video im making now, i might make one with syl.. dunno really depends if i can find a compatible song to use.
