Of all the songs on the list, I think that "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" probably did deserve the top spot, if only because having a "100 Best" list of anything can be so subjective--I mean, a lot of us have probably never heard of a lot of these songs, but it's rare to find an American who doesn't know at least that song, if not the whole movie.

I always hate these lists though. What's the standard to judge which movie/song/moment from Reality TV/etc. is really the best? Some songs can be compared, yes; but can you really compare a song from 8-Mile with a song from The Sound of Music?

Plus I'm annoyed that "Springtime for Hitler" was only #80 on the list...

Dope by Debonaire (?) from Fast and the Furious 1 when the cops raided the asian dudes home. Awesome song turned all the way up!

okays, most american pie soundtracks are cool. the lord of the rings soundtracks are reall melo and instramental...i don't think i spelt that right...oh well. XD so anyways the Scorpion King soundtrack is good if u like rock, um...idk what else. kill bill's soundtrack seemed cool. oh, queen of the damned has a kick ass soundtrack, as i've heard. idk what other movies would have cool music...*thinks* owwie um...hum...well, the crow had cool background music but the movie wasn't all that great. Harry Potter movies are cool too..thats all i have to say really.
