According to what I've read in quite a few other places (including a friend's LJ), it's legit, and whatever offer you take is easily cancelable.

Not that I'd do it myself, because I don't particularly care for an iPod, whatever it is.

Thanks but no thanks ... I already have an iPod ... it's a 3Gen iPod but it's still reliable, although I have a tendency to skip generations when I buy computer hardware so by the time I have money to buy a new iPod, the 5Gen iPod would be out so I'm more likely to wait until my oldPod kicks the bucket first before I got out and get a newPod.
