thought i'd save the author of this thread alot of embarrasment and change the subject.
did you guys know that christmas was actually and attempt by the roman empire to convert the pegan western europeans? yeah, in ireland, the had a tradition of sacraficing a virgin every winter sulstice. the romans could convert them to christianity, but couldnt get them to stop celebrating that holiday, so they just turned it into a christan holiday.
there's a punk rock christmas for ya: sacrafice a virgin this winter sulstace!!!
