Now, this is my oppinion, even though everyone here thinks I am stupid, I think I can sum it up rather nicely.
Underground-this can be any genre(...though I have never heard of an underground country band...) that is just lesser known, and is not mainstream, which gets radio play.
Indie-Softcore rock.
There is my take.

There are underground country bands. Asleep at the Wheel has had some commercial success songs, and you might get lucky and see one of their CDs at a Wal-Mart, but have you heard of them? They mostly just get together, tour a while, write some new songs, put out a new record that gets some play where they can find it, and then go back to their day jobs. Same with The Geezinslaws (they're probably an even better example).
Life's short.

Not at all, actually.PunkRockLove wrote:Indie-Softcore rock.
Unless your definition of "normal" rock is formed from listening to nothing but nu-metal and Ozzfest bands.
There's nothing really "soft" about most indie rock, except that it's usually not concerned with songs about being dumped or kicking people's asses. But if realizing that there's more to life than that makes me soft, then hey, call me Sof' Boy!

omgz0rs, 199% spot-on for the Malkmus/Misato one.
If Pokemon had gone 3000 episodes before the kids suddenly started jumping all over it I'd agree on that one too, ie. "Early Pokemon was way better, more edgy and experimental."
OMG just made a connection-- Isaac -Brock- (that was dumb)
*ahem* yes. Just letting you know you have an audience. :p
(still haven't heard the Killers' album, still haven't seen any Digimon)
