I think mainstream hip-hop is one of the best thing for parties too, I can't stand being in a party and listening to angsty rock... just takes me out of the raise your glass and get funked up mood.

We've discussed metal in other threads, and how i find it useless for my types of parties.. we don't have to get into that here.

Snoop made his debut in Dr. Dre's The Chronic in 1992 (late '92, at that), so that hardly makes him a washed-up '80s rapper. I know that's being nitpicky on my part but I get that way when I see a thread being turned into another RAP SUX!!! thread. Not on this board, of course, being that I'm so new here, but I've seen it a hundred other times on a hundred other sites.

My take on Snoop: overrated and overexposed as a celebrity, underrated as an MC.
