utada hikaru is my only known j-rock artist...but otherwise I love the Initial D soundtrack stuff, I like J-Pop more than anything...hey first post! I must be really bored...

Although I don't regularly buy a lot of Japanese music, if ever, three of my favorite bands would have to be T. M. Revolution, X-Japan and The Yellow Monkey.

japanese music? oh, I love them all! but, the most is DA PUMP, it is really a J-pop group band consist of 4 hansom men whose have incridible voices!
They play pop hip-hop, I think... What do you think?

the others...I like T.M. REVOLUTION, BUMP OF CHICKEN, THE YELLOW MONKEY, and of course V6.

Umm... i like those 5,6,7,8's... yah, I think thats them, they sounded pretty good on KB,oh.. and Yoko Kanno, and of course somwhere along the lines of Utada Hikaru - Ayumi Hamasaki...

Lets see, X-Japan was mentioned a few times, but they're good enough to be mentioned again. I also like Dir en Grey, B'z, Gackt, and Urufuruzu is good if you want that 50's beach kinda feel ^_^
