bands like fall out boy
heres a list of bands that I've come to enjoy and love:
Fall Out Boy, All American Rejects and Waltham
If you get a chance check out each of the latest albums of each of these bands.
If you know of any bands that have a similar cool sound in this punkish pop category of music then please notify us so we can recognize them for their skills as musicians.

Yeah, Fallout Boy was Radioactive Man's sidekick in the comics. I wonder if copyrights of copyrights are fair play?
Anyway. Try Finch for Fall Out Boy, and maybe the Promise Ring's Very Emergency for All-American Rejects. And I've never heard of Waltham.
And by the way, I'm pretty sure there are thousands and thousands of bands that are close to this sound, all you have to do is either turn on a rock radio station for a couple hours or get a sampler CD from Drive-Thru or Vagrant Records.

the other way is to listen to them live. Heard Yellowcard open for Reel Big Fish at a homecoming concert a couple of years ago...they can barely play their instruments...let alone sing.yeah, but yellowcard are assholes, and their music sucks.
the only reason yellowcard sounds good is because they have a violinist, which makes their music as a general whole, unique. It's just a mask, actually listen to the guitars and drums.
You really haven't heard a band until you've heard them live, that's the final litmus test.
