i have three all-time favorite bands!

1 Burzum! while there's lots and lots of crazy and often exxaggerated propaganda about his actions in the early 90s, his music is pure genious...so ...mystical... so..entrancing... so... enthralling..

2-Blind Guardian - far removed from Burzum, but with music of ridiculous complexity (on albums like aNaTO) and of fascinating melody and singing...the lyrics are really great stuff, too, lots of allusions and symbolism!

3-Amon Amarth - while not as 'intense' or chaotic as a band lik eCryptopsy or Morbid Angel, Amon Amarth is certainly some heavy, aggressive and powerful stuff. seriously, if Vikings had an anthem, it would be Victorious March!
