Who likes classical and who is your favorite composer?

My favorite composer is Shostakovitch, especially the orchestrated version of the ninth string quartet. That's about as close as you can get to heavy metal in classical music.

I have really only graced the surface of classical but it is good. I really like Beethoven personally.

I'm fond of Beethoven, Pachabel and Dvořák personally. I also like some Bach, but his stuff can get somewhat repetetive.

I tend to enjoy Richard Wagner and Wolfgang Amadé Mozart, when I'm in the mood for something "classical".

Rachmaninoff. Like a good deal of Pachelbel too.
