Favourite movie soundtracks / scores ?

Post by Otokodate » Fri Sep 22, 2006 9:22 pm

I was just wondering what everyone's favourite move soundtracks or scores are. Mine have got to be:

- Pirates of the Caribbean
- Underworld
- Underworld: Evolution
- Star Wars V: The Empire Strikes Back

Anyone else?

Oh how convenient. A theory about God that doesn't require looking through a telescope.

Yes, Pirates of the Caribbean, Edward Scissorhands (cuz Danny Elfman rocks), and RENT (yes, that's cheating, but it's still a soundtrack).

Jesus Christ, don't get me started.

Harry Gregson-Williams - The Chronicles of Narnia
Gabriel Yared - the REJECTED score for Troy
Harry Gregson-Williams - Kingdom of Heaven
James Horner - Glory
Danny Elfman - Edward Scissorhands
Vangelis - Alexander
Brian Tyler - Children of Dune
James Horner - Star Trek II
Joel McNeely - Shadows of the Empire

Almost anything by Hans Zimmer, but especially his scores for The Last Samurai and King Arthur

The lost highway (Haven't seen the movie but it has 2 Rammstein tracks and it's got "Perfect Drug" by NIN and other good songs)
Dark City (The fight song alone is boss, wonder if anyone has put it in an AMV yet)
Labyrinth (I am a David Bowie fan and sadly many of the songs I know the lyrics to)
Lion King (NOT the animated one but the stage performance version)

The man is a legend. I can't believe his work on the Metal Gear Solid series on the PS2. Wow.
