Neither have I. But I also heard the same thing about their shows as you did (from about 10 people) and that's why I wrote that

I totally agree and that's why I started all this...

OK I admit that I have overacted a bit. I just wanted to tell you that I think that they are very overestimated as a band...and that's all

But lets stop for now because I don't want this to turn into a flame war XD

$44aud, so roughly between $35-$40 usd

However to be fair, I am actually paying to see the support more so than dragonforce (Vanishing Point, local melodic prog).

Yeah, Dragonforce is a spectical to se, enjoy, and cherish but really seeing them once maybe twice is enough. the last time I saw them it was here in LA on St. Patrick's Day. Probably the most metal St. Patrick's Day of my ife. All That Remains were main support, that's why I went this third time around.

$40 USD isn't that much for Dragonforce, sometimes, tickets here resell for more than double face value.

It's old school, but these guys are the best

new bands that I like - Trivium, their new one kicked ass
the new Killswitch Engage was good, though not as good as The End Of Heartache,

there are some great tech-death bands out there, Martyr is probably the best
