I just lost my first account, and I just recently got my first strike on my second one. Anyway, you-tube is annoying, but its popularity and ease of use makes it for one of the better distribution outlets. It's annoying, but at least it's easy to get backup accounts.

Yeah, gotta agree. Strikes are annoying but I think a lot of people wouldn't even know of the org without youtube (includes me of course

Agree about YT being annoying, it's popularity, and better distribution. I'm almost in the same boat as you Code with my second and main account which I made in January of '09 just getting it's first strike last Friday from Studio Ghibli but my first YT account which I made in February of '07 I wound up leaving for my second account after I got 2 strikes over my friends' amvs. I'm surprised it's still up but if I wuz still on it I'm pretty sure I would've lost everything I've created for the last almost 4 years last Friday. That's a mindfuck bullet I'm glad I dodged. If my second account which I'm using now gets a second strike I'm leaving it and creating another account. Created 5 more accounts since '09 with one for uploading my amv hell type parodies, another for uploading r&b music, another for an amv I made that's extremely in the fanservice category since assholes like to flag, and 2 more to upload amvs I've downloaded from others that I favor. I'm surprised they're still up too and I'm going to upload my amv that Studio Ghibli filed copyright for on one of the last two accounts. I ain't had shit in my title dealing with Studio Ghibli, Hayao Miyazaki, and his films in it but I did in the description box and tags for it so I'm leaving the entire slate clean of them on the next upload.

To everyone that has had to go thru the pain of having their entire accounts suspended you have my condolences even though I know it's not enough.

It took me 2 months to get my account back after my first suspension.

Now I'm on the verge of losing it again.

It means you're lucky and should be skeptically optimistic. I'd gone nearly 2/3 years without a strike, and got all 3 within the span of just a few days. Not even enough time to make a backup account between the second and third one. >_>'
