There's another software that seems promising. I'm currently trying to learn it. It's called Audacity and you can download it for free at the site i posted above.

So far it's been easy to use, it comes with a full help manual and it is a freeware, meaning it's free to use. The tutorials are easy to follow, almost as easyy as ErMac's guides.

My audio guide has a whole section on using Audacity to shorten the length of your audio for use in an amv, if you are interested (link below)

Super thanks AD! I'll try that out after I finish remixing my first version of Spieluhr. I'm having so much fun mixing things up, I wish I had found this stuff earlier. It's a wonder nobody else is doing the same things with the music they choose. This Remix of Rammstein is gonna so kick ass!!

One supper cool tool I found to help save my azz when dealing with wav files is to use the Ultra simple Sound recorder software that comes with windows to convert the sounds to cd wave form.

Open Sound Recorder. Open wav file. Save files as...change format to cd quality (so it can mix better with ripped music), save.

In Audacity...Import file. Insert silence, choose when you want the sound, then insert sound, de-amplify sound (so it stays int eh back ground), play play test. Repeat as necessary.

This is really awesome. A piece of cake. And again, thanks AD!
