I'm mostly a fan of classic rock (start from mid-60's and work your way towards the present). I won't really go out and buy anything new, not that I buy a lot of albums anyway, but for me to enjoy something new, it has to be well thought out and enjoyable. No screaming into the mike kind of shit, and the band has to have some noticable amount of talent. Fav. bands by the way are KISS and U2.

I like rock n roll and alternative rock the most. I also like college a cappella.
Basically I listen for music that sounds like it carries emotion, shows original elements, and isn't too hard to listen to. Although a lot depends on my mood.
