I was going to give you the link to Digitally Imported, but when I get there I see this announcement:

As for CDs, I bought one last weekend that was a real find. It's a 2-CD set called A Trip in Trance 3 (Water Music 2004). Each CD is an 80-minute mix. One is mixed by Lange, the other by Plastic Angel. Both of these guys are regulars on Digitally Imported, and I think these sets have actually played there, too. It's hard to tell genres, but the selections would fall under progressive trance, euphoric, Ibiza, etc. Includes nice work by artists who are not well known. Anyway, it's dominating my playlist at the moment.

Would be good if the played it through some FM radio station. its 6:50 as I'm typing this. Oh well, at least becker is on.

I thought this was going to be tomorrow and...it IS tomorrow...already.

I have it streaming now and they just played an info spot. Says it's 99.9 FM live out of Sydney. If you're in the area, maybe you'll be able to pick it up right now.

another good compilation CD is the "minitry of sound" collection.. I haven't checked out if they've put anything out recently but the ones i have from the 2002-2003 event was good too.

i havent read any of the posts on this thread only the one that recomended massive attack as a trance act.... Dude really?. Massive attack is trip hop and trip hop is not even close to being trance. And trance is (no offense to anyone here) in my opinion the gay genre in the electronica

Well I happen to be that dude, and I already fucking know it is Trip-Hop. But the specific song I listened to is TRANCE.

So quit pretending like you know what you're fucking talking about and fuck off. If you don't like that type of music, then what the fuck are you doing in this thread that is clearly labeled with the word TRANCE in it, insulting peoples tastes (and intelligence)?

cause i want to... and the thread is called "need your opinion ... " so i could basically say everything i want about trance or rock... its my opinion afterall. and why are u giving him a trip hop suggestion if trip hop is not even as half as similar as trance. anyway my bad for not reading well, but dont tell me to fuck off when you cant actually said that to me.

I bought it at a place called Best Buy - which you're probably not going to find Down Under. It's not my usual place to get music, but I happened to be browsing there the other day. Good price, though: US$14 for the 2-CD set.
