Interesting how sometimes NOT understanding lyrics sometimes makes a band more appealing, rather than the opposite.

That kinda reminds me of how my dad liked Rush better when he didn't know English as well as he does now...

I love Rammstein they have a very industrial sound and they keep a good beat by my standards. My favorite song of their's is Zwitter even if it means hermaphrodite, if that's how you spell it.

Excellent band, their first cd was good, and from there its been getting better each cd, and i especially enjoy a song entitled "Moskau" from their newest CD.

and by the way to the guy who said he liked "Speil mit mir" That translates to "Play with me" hehe

I for one like/love Rammstein...
Yes, some of their songs are a bit simplistic.
Funnily enough these are the ones most "fans" love. 'Du Hast' anyone?
However they play with the meanings in their lyrics because of the pronounciation and whatnot.
Do love that aspect of their music; furthermore the music itself is good.
Lyrical veracity aside one can enjoy the sounds produced.
Are there better bands? Of course.
Are there worse bands? Undoubtedly.

imho rammstein is very good, but the Lyrics sometimes are realy strange, the song "Mein Teil" for example is about eating a human.
My favorite songs are "Dalai Lama", "Du riechst so gut", "Keine Lust", "Spieluhr", "Moskau" and "Stein um Stein".
I can understand the Lyrics because I'm German, and if you don't understand the songs, i think it must be very boring, because the lyrics often are quite funny.
