I guess Max Payne isn't much of a yaoi fan...

I mostly listen to black and folk metal nowadays, along with progressive and doom.
favourite bands: agalloch, children of bodom, darkthrone, burzum, finntroll, my dying bride, windir, morbid angel, opeth, age of silence, immortal, taake, drudkh, ensiferum, bathory..........
imagine i talked for about five minutes listing bands and you get the idea.

nice!
anime and metal are my two main entertainment passions at this stage in my life
i noticed one of you guys said children of bodom... you would probably be highly interested in Kalmah or Norther, either of which complement CoB quite nicely
lately, its power metal, and the cds by Falconer make up a lot of what i've heard in the past few days. if you haven't heard them, either of their 3 cds i know of are interesting indeed!

Metalhead here
I have a preference for bizarre metal, Arcturus, Solefald, Sigh, etc, but with a 300 CD collection, 250+ are metal, so that says something.
Kalmah and Norther are sweet, in a similiar sound I will add Blood Stain Child (from Japan) Eternal Tears of Sorrow, Mors Principium Est and Omnium Gatherum.
I will admit I am a Devin Townsend fanboy, and cannot go a day without some SYL or DTB .

I bought a record after you posted that name a few times, I got the Aspera Hiems Symfonia as a re-release with 2 remastered demos. It's quite nice altough their early works suffered from a to small budget for the production. It's the same with alot of good Black Metal stuff like Ninnghizhidda or The Kovenant.Catatonik wrote:Arcuturus

Black Sea's Cry owns, damn that the song is pretty long and thus not usable for an amv. Btw. why don't you create amvs ? (yeah I know it's offtopic)
