One thing left to say:
We're not living in America (x9)
We're not living in America
But we're not sorry
I know there was something that we never had
But we don't worry
No, we're not living in America,
But we're not sorry
We don't care about the world today
We're not sorry for you
My baby!
Sweet baby!
Oh, baby, baby, baby, baby, aah..
EVERYONE SING!!!!!

I guess I'm still for the lock,
but before that, thanks demented for a very un-demented post.
Anyways, I'm glad there's enough reasonable posts here to counter the bashers. Of whom I've yet to hear too many good points.

My music, meanwhile, is shamelessly un-danceable, and I'm utterly incapable of commiting said bodily grooving with any efficiency - other than embarassing myself

I brought this up, I think. At least I remember chatting to Dranged about this aspect. And, again, if this isn't already a valid enough reason for even the most basic rap to be considered good music...This is also the type of rap that most people here don't seem to agree with as well. My assumption is that they don't go clubbin' or simply don't dance to hip-hop. Simple bounce/stepping music is all it is, why try to complicate dancing any further? If it were rock music, I'd be so fucking lost. I don't know the first thing on how to dance to rock music (unless moshing would count as a form of dancing)

Frank Zappa wrote:Don’t know much about dancin’
That’s why I got this song
One of my legs is shorter than the other
’n’ both my feet’s too long
’course now right along with ’em
I got no natural rhythm
But I go dancin’ every night
Hopin’ one day I might get it right
I’m a dancin’ fool, I’m a
Dancin’ fool
I hear that beat; I jump outa my seat,
But I can’t compete, ’cause I’m a
Dancin’ fool, I’m a
Dancin’ fool
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…
