It is interesting to see the variety of beliefs of a different members. I would consider my set of beliefs tied closest with Buddhism though I use the term loosely. I do not attend traditional Buddhist ceremonies or a temple, nor do I follow certain Buddhist principles. But even Buddha would say :
"Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it."

Indeed! That's why despite having a huge amount of respect for Buddhist principles I never even thought of becoming a Buddhist, because organized Buddhism these days is somewhere between meaninglessly symbolic and outright going against Buddha's actual teachings. The same could be said of Christianity to be honest. Jesus would probably be pretty sad if he saw what people built up on his ideas.RathiSponge wrote:It is interesting to see the variety of beliefs of a different members. The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Jesus would be proud that The Third Rome, the only REAL Christianity, liberated Judea from the heathens. Jesus only turns the other cheek to grab another can of whoop-ass.Otohiko wrote: The same could be said of Christianity to be honest. You know, I realize it's off topic, but I really hate that attitude. How arrogant to assume that ancient peoples couldn't have created something so amazing. Maybe you just really want to believe in aliens and aren't trying to look down on other cultures, but in the end that's really what you're implying with that hypothesis.guy07 wrote:I still say the aliens did it

And second, it's a well documented fact that the pyramids were built by Hebrew aliens and their lovable robot companions back in 1885. We all know this to be true.
