Just had to replace the battery in my car. Ordinarily, this wouldn't be a big deal...in most cars.... In MINE, I have to remove the driver's side fuse-box to allow me to remove the washer tank that sits on top of the battery. Then I have to remove the air-cleaner (I hate hate HATE hose clamps) to allow access to the hold-down bracket, and even then there's only enough room for maybe 30° of movement at a time. Oh yeah, and the last time the battery was replaced, the bracket was apparently torqued down by The Hulk or something, making it even MORE of a pain in the neck. What should be a 15-20 minute job took MUCH longer...

Re: Vent Thread
AHHHHH.... This season in accounting offices is just plain painful. I started out at 8 AM just doing secretarial duties while our secretary was out. So. Many. Phone. Calls. >_<
Then at 11 AM when I actually got to start doing my client work, I am BOMBARDED with calls/requests for so much stuff that I nearly fainted by noon [just an hour later].
Then I went to our sister office for the second half of the day, to realize that our old secretary [who was recently fired] hadn't been billing half of our clients. So that's another 15-20 phone calls informing people that they owe us insane amounts of money. Lovely experiences, I might add. >_>
AAAAAnd to top off my day, I just found out that our sister office's software just expired, and everything with the software is in the old owner's name, meaning that our bookeepers have no software to work with, and I can't do anything until customer support calls me back.
And we have even STARTED taxes yet. >_<
Also, WHY is the intern handling all this stuff which is supposed to be the duty of the business manager? Because I'm too responsible apparently. >_>

December was my worst month for downloads here since I uploaded my first video back in 2004.

Re: Vent Thread
I think December is a slow month in general. My downloads were about half what I usually get.BasharOfTheAges wrote:December was my worst month for downloads here since I uploaded my first video back in 2004.
