Way to be redundant, fuck face.

No, seriously, I agree with you on this. But what really annoys me is... OMG YELLOWCARD USES THAT TINY GUITAR THING THAT PEOPLE PLAY WITH STICKS, HOW COOL!

Like they're the only fucking band to ever have used a violin.. Um, hello, Elvenking, Tuatha De Danann, Skyclad? I mean, there's SO MANY folk bands that have done it aready and actually do it WELL.

Like i said before you should give this guys a break cause maybe they dont have the resources that u guys have to get into more music; or they have those resources but they dont know where to start; The internet is more than enough but is an infinite source and im sure a lot of them get lost and just need a reference guide to start, So instead of being arrogant and say "You guys suck cause u just watch mtv and im cool because i listen to underground music" a better choice would be to recomend bands or sources where they can get in touch with more music of the genre they like.

Oo, I have an idea, how about they read our posts where we make references to bands we listen to?

My top 5 favorite bands are:

#1 - Metallica
#2 - Creed
#3 - Train
#4 - Linkin Park
#5 - Bon Jovi
(#6 - Alterbridge)
(#7 - Crimson Orchid)

It wasn't until recently when I got tired of creed, Metallica took over #1 for me. Well now that's my music anyone else.

I got to here and decided to stop and reply. Y uo didn't read my post at all. Anyone that has posted a message here has plenty of resorces. I told any idiot with the itnernet how to find more music form the genre they like. The internet is the best resorce some one could possibly ask for. you don't have to go on the Van's Warped Tour to learn more about music. I've been looking for new bands I might like since I was 14, just surfing the internet. It's not fucking hard in the slightest.

yup, Kilik, I just read your entire post. I DID tell them how to use the internet to get more music out of their genre. Don't tell us what we're doing wrong when we're not doing it. I told them a GREAT start to finding new better music. Here's another one just for kicks. Go to amazon.com kids, look up your favorite band, scroll down to "people who bought music by this artist also bought music by..." and click one of the bands you've never heared of, then scroll down to the track list and preview some of their music through amazon. Now you kids have like 2 or 3 incredibly simple and easy ways to find new and better music.

and I can't believe some one listed Creed AT ALL, much less number 2 after I posted.

because you dictate who we can't like? gene, you better run now.

some people are too busy or lazy to search for music artists outside mainstream. does that make them bad people? do you know all the non-mainstream composers, authors, directors, painters, photographers, and architects you like and don't like? does it make you a bad person if you don't?

I didn't "dictate" that anyone's not allowed to like creed. I stated of my own personal opinion, which I share with millions of other people, that creed is an utterly rediculous "favorite" to choose.

and you think lazyness is a good excuse? Lazyness if a problem, it's not a good thing. It is a handicap and a disability. It brings absolutely NO good what so ever. It only makes people sorry and regretfull. If you want to start an argumetn with me, lazyness was a fucking terrible excuse to pull as your defense. Lazyness is exactly the problem. If these kids like music enough to be able to claim 5 "favorites" then they should respect music enough to take a little bit of initiative, enough to find some good music.

I'll alkso drop this as a reminder for you, as I highly doubt you've read all my posts. This has nothing to do with type of music or genre. I has to do with the defining factors of good and bad. The music industry is not entirely based on opinion, there ARE "good" and "bad" artists, and everything inbetween. And what I've seen her ein this thread, is that people like a genre of music, and all their favorites are the shittiest artists of the genre. I'm just trying to tell and hlep them, that if they like that genre of music, if they get off their asses (that's an exporession, if they litterally just STAY on thier asses) for five minutes and surf the internet, they can probably find some better music in their genre that they'll like a lot, amazon.com is anen xcellent resorce.

As some one who's press and works on this newwave "punk/indie/emo/hardcore" scene or what ever the fuck it is, I can guarentee to ANYONE who likes pop punk music, that there is better than good charlotte and yelloowcard. better by MILES, and you won't have to look very hard to find it, you'll just have to simply look.

down with pants, i just fucking officialy owned you. now shut the fuck up unless you have a real argument to put on the table. If not, just let us do what we were fucking doing, let those of us that know good music is out there try to drop a little bit of helpfull advise. I know I just sound like I'm telling people they suck and are stupid, but that's just because I weeved in giving advise while I was complaining with my own personal opinion and comment that this thread disgusts me.

p.s. I do respect you. I wouldn't argue with you at all if I didn't. arguing on this message board is normaly stupid and pointless. There are far too many stupid 13 and 14 year old kids. I wouldn't argue with 99.5% of this board, but I know you and kilik have brains big enough to handle it. Hopefully, I trust, that you guys are actually thinking over things I've said. and hopefully, the kids I'm trying to target went to amazon.com to find some new music or something.
