FF7 is overrated, for well good reason tho. But so is Mario 64, when Sonic Adventure was the superior gaem :3

Trying to get to Captain on Reach, takes so long...so long

/me sighs

I've stumbled back to minecraft, as I so often do. I'm building a mansion on top of a hill right now, going to flatten out all the hills around it and cut down all the trees to make it look more badass. Working with mocreatures mod, fancypack and more farming mods.

I'm not saying it's not enjoyable but it's nowhere near the greatness people put it on. Legend of Dragoon was much more innovative and enjoyable to me.

Exactly. Hell first FF I played wuz 9 in 2000 and I enjoyed it a lot which made me catch up on the past games, 7 wuz one of the FFs I've played the following year and found it to be my fave FF on the PS1 and one of my favorite RPGs period. 7 still had that impact and gave RPG's more props by the time I played it and despite some setbacks the game had I truly enjoyed it and I've played thru it and beaten it I don't know how many times, great replayability. Anyone who has played the game knows it's overrated over the border but they can't argue with the reasons why. LOD is one of the best RPG's I've played as well and it would've been more well-known if it had came out not around when FF7 did, it's a shame.

Fuck it I'm making a list of RPG's I've played. There are games I've played that some folks don't see as technically RPG's even though they carry certain elements like the Zelda and Kingdom Hearts series, Nier, Dark Cloud 2, Megaman Legends series, Okami, The Bouncer, Rogue Galaxy, Valkyrie Profile, Parasite Eve series, Crisis Core and others I've played in the category so I'm only gonna list the traditional RPG's I've played in random order: Super Mario RPG: Legend Of The Seven Stars, Earthbound, Chrono Trigger & Cross, Tales Of Symphonia, Abyss, Legendia, & Vesperia, Shadow Hearts: Covenant & From The New World, Skies Of Arcadia, Grandia 2 & 3, Xenogears, Xenosaga 1, 2, & 3, Panzer Dragoon Saga, Legend Of Dragoon, Legend Of Legaia, Persona 3 Fes & 4, Pokemon Yellow, Silver, & Crystal, FF 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 10-2, 12, 13 & Tactics, Baiten Kaitos 1, Paper Mario 1 & 2, Breath Of Fire 4, Dragon Quest 8, Disgaea 1 & 2, La Pucelle Tactics, Golden Sun 1 & 2, Lunar: The Silver Star & Eternal Blue, Magna Carta 1, Star Ocean 3 & 4. Best game I've played story-wise is Xenogears. I do not believe there will ever be a video game that has a story as epic as that game did, glad I still have my disks and surprised the game will be released on PSN tomorrow in the US. As for Super Mario 64 and Sonic Adventure, luved both games and can't pick one over the other even though SM64 had less mistakes.

Still goin thru FF13 again.

Just finished Heavy Rain and I take back what I said: This is my absolute favorite game of the last 10 years. Truly excellent story and just greatness all around. I got the best possible ending but plan to play through the entire game at least another 3 more times to get the worst ending, doing all the trials without fail
Spoiler :
(didn't kill that guy the first time)
and a mash of letting certain people die or not doing certain things.
